At MCA we host adult daytime and evening courses every Wednesday and Thursday. From September 2011 these include;
English and Maths Skills.
English and Maths GCSE.
First Steps in Computers. (Beginners)
Computer Skills Workshop. (Intermediate)
Introduction to Becoming a Teaching Assistant.
Introduction to Volunteering in the Community.
Certificate in Working as a Teaching Assistant.
English, Maths and IT skills courses are FREE. You can work at your own pace. You can join at any time. Friendly atmosphere. Get a nationally recognised qualification. Other courses are FREE to eligible applicants.

Have you been out of work for a while and need help to get started in finding a new job? Looking for a job for the first time? Want to start a new career? At the WORKshop our tutors and trainers can help you,

-Learn to work in a team
-Get advice and guidance
-Help you gain work experience
At the WORKshop you can also gain recognised workplace skills in Health and Safety and Emergency First Aid at Work, or go on to improve your English, Maths and Computer Skills at the Community College. The WORKshop training courses are FREE to all eligible applicants.
Call for more information on how to enrol at the Community College. Courses begin in September 2011, but you can also join courses including ‘The WORKshop’, throughout the year.
The Community College and ‘The WORKshop’ is a partnership between Manchester Communication Academy and Manchester Adult Education Services.
