Our partners

The Manchester Communication Academy is a new local high school. Academies are different to other high schools as they draw on the skills of business partners to help shape the way the school is run and the way that children learn. The Manchester Communication Academy has three main partners.

BT

BT is the proud lead partner in the Manchester Communication Academy, helping to create a new local high school that will be a hub of local activity and learning.

The Manchester College

The Manchester College is a co-partner in the Manchester Communication Academy. The college provides specialist support and resources for the education and training of 14-19 year olds, helping to ensure that young people reach their potential.

Manchester City Council

Manchester City Council will support all seven of the city’s academies in providing a new kind of education, linked to Manchester’s employers and business.

Collaborative partners

The Academy sits at the heart of the Harpurhey and North Manchester community as a true community facility. The Manchester Communication Academy is working closely with organisations, groups and members of the local community to ensure everyone benefits from the resources, facilities and opportunities that the new Academy will provide.
