Manchester City Council will support all seven of the city’s academies in providing a new kind of education, linked to Manchester’s employers and business.
Manchester City Council wants everyone who lives and works in Manchester to benefit from the city’s continued growth and wants to ensure that children and young people gain the skills and qualifications demanded by employers.
Sir Richard Leese, the leader of Manchester City Council, says: “The Manchester Communication Academy will be a new and exciting place to learn. Strong links with business will help academies raise aspirations and young people’s confidence so they can contribute positively to their communities and workplace.”
