The Manchester College

The Manchester College is a co-partner in the Manchester Communication Academy. The college provides specialist support and resources for the education and training of 14-19 year olds, helping to ensure that young people reach their potential. With its involvement, academies can offer more opportunities than traditional secondary schools, and the approach allows students to choose the kind of qualifications that suit their needs.

Peter Tavernor, Principal of The Manchester College, says: ‘As co-partner of all the Manchester academies, the college has extremely high aspirations for all who are connected with them. We will be seeing highly motivated young people being supported by equally highly motivated staff within a true learning community.’
