Result's Day

Updated: Jan 11, 2019

Congratulations to all our students on their amazing results this year.  You should be proud of your hard work and dedication that has opened the door to your next stage of education, employment or training. We look forward to keeping up to date with your future successes through our Alumni events.

Many GCSE`s were graded 1-9 with 9 being the top grade that is only awarded to a small percentage of students. This year we are celebrating an increase in grade 9`s in both English and Maths, with further grade 9`s being achieved in the new GCSE`s in languages and Humanities. Five students achieved the prstigious double grade 9 in Science.  Our highest attaining student this year was Hannah Rashidi who attained six grade 9`s, two grade 8`s and two Distinction*.

We are also celebrating magnificent results with our Year 10 students who sat some of their qualifications a year early. 44% of the grades achieved in PE were at least distinction and 52% of engineering results were at least distinction.

Whilst achieving grades are incredibly important, what we do at MCA is so much more. Our students will leave us with a great opportunity to make a real difference in their future to our community and beyond.
