The principles of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs, are integral to the life of the Academy. These are not only included in the academic curriculum but inform relationships between students and staff; are the basis of inter-staff cooperation; underlie home-school interaction and community participation; and are always salient in the formation of Academy policy and procedures.
